I wanted to post a review about Black Bullet...but I decided to post about DOG DAYS!!!!!!! I salute to Dog Days' fans for their patience for approximately 1 year and 8 months (more or less) for the release date of Dog Days Season 3 (which is named Dog Days Double Dash). I'm so happy for them and for my myself. XD

Well, I'm not here to play with hashtags...but to talk about Dog Days and its' journey...from its' 1st season till now...

Dog Days Season 1
To be honest, I've never started watching Dog Days (ドッグデイズ) when one of my classmates introduce it to me in the year 2011. But,...this year I watched and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! BTW, if you look at the
Wikipedia article about...blah, blah, blah...it is a romance (a bit), fantasy (quite true...), adventure (true story...), and an action anime TV series (ABSOLUTELY TRUE!).

Anyways, season 1 goes like this: Our main character, Shinku Izumi, a normal schoolboy in a modern-day Japan, got summoned to the alternate world of Flonyard, a world where people have animal ears and tails, by Millhiore, the dog-like Princess of the Biscotti Republic to save her nation from the evil' forces of the dark...just joking, it is actually to save her nation from the forces of another nation, which is the forces of the feline-like Galette Lion Dominion. (A bit too long, huh?)

He accepts her plea...and anyways, how can anyone...like anybody reject a plea from such cute girl... with a dog's ear? Well, well, he receives a sacred weapon, the Palladium, blah...blah...blah...and won the battle for Biscotti. Sadly, they found out that a hero that is summoned into Flonyard is unable to return to his homeworld, a fact that Millhiore also was unaware of. LOL, seriously? How can you be unaware of it as ruler of Biscotti, Millhiore?

Anyways, Ricotta (the cute dog-girl) and the scientists of Biscotti promised Cinque to find a way for him to return home in 16 days.

BTW, to cut the long story short, the 'dark' secret behind Galette Lion Dominion's constant invasion on Biscotti is solved, blah...blah...blah...Ricotta found the way...but the sad thing is...think about it what is the one thing that makes can't remember about an incident....yes, you right. MEMORY ERASED...Well, he promised to come back...and then somehow, after the heartbreaking moments...he remembered it all back because of a ring...watch it yourself can't tell you too much...or not this post will be too long.

Dog Days Season 2
Moving on to season 2, which premiered in the year 2012. Three months later, Shinku was summoned back together with Rebecca with him. His cousin and rival athlete Nanami also is summoned to Flonyard as Galette's Hero.

Halfway during the battle, the First Princess of the squirrel-like Principality of Pastillage
, Couvert, scouts Rebecca and convinces her to become their hero. With each of the three nations having a hero, they decide to hold the Union Festival, a special competition between them.

Meanwhile, Cinque, Nanami and Rebecca explore the world of Flonyard, having many adventures with their native friends. After the Union Festival ends, the three heroes return home, promising to visit Flonyard again in the near future. Wow...those long stories...basically this season is just a filler to bridge unto the next season. But I love one thing or...yeah, the one thing...you know what...*wait for it*...*wait for it*...tut, please proceed on to know what is it. It is in the screenshots of season 2, tut.

Ahem...Sorry about that. BTW, we are going to talk about season 3...It was announced on 25 November 2012...well, on 24 June 2014 (after 1 year and a half, I was like what seriously?! What took you all so long?!), the animator Katsuya Kikuchi requested his followers to wait a little longer as it is still in production via his Twitter account. Well, and behold on 15 August 2014, it is revealed that the third season of Dog Days will premiere on January 2015 on Tokyo MX TV during Comiket.
