Brexit and Iceland

Well, I had finished my finals...and Brexit 'occurred' twice. BTW, that was supposed to be a joke. There is a lot of crazy things happens...after the vote. There are a lot of regrets, anger, and disappointment with the result. A lot of uncertainty involved in politics, economic and so many things...I'll let you calm down for a moment.

Calm down? Well, let's sit down talk about it. Shall we?

SO what is the European Union or well, for short EU?

The European Union is a politico-economic union of numerous member states that are located primarily in Europe. There is the European Council, Council of the European Union, European Parliament, European Commission, Court of Justice of the European Union European Central Bank and European Court of Auditors. For short, the EU is super complicated and have a WHOLE bunch of exceptions after exceptions. It is also well SUPER bureaucratic. There are just too many things to talk about it. But I believe that the EU will eventually break down. I believe that people want their country back, they want their borders back, and want their nation's sovereignty back.

To be honest, I don't disagree with the EU taking in the refuges BUT they are taking in ANYBODY without reservation. Numerous refugees had raped woman in Europe after being taken in...the government DON'T CARE! People are SICK AND TIRED of politician asking for votes...and then when they win, they have forgotten that they elected by the people and leave their promises one side. If you want to take in refugees, take them in by all means BUT we need to know their background and need to make the people that are taken in WILL NOT cause trouble within the nation.

OK, putting the issue regarding the EU aside...I wanna talk about the Euro Cup. Iceland BEAT England, 2-1, the scoreline. WOW...look at the stats...

Well, looking at their stats during the group stage, it is not surprising to see why England have a HUGE CHANCE of losing. They never won a single-elimination match in a big event such as Euro Cup for 10 YEARS! They are not even SUPER GREAT against Iceland, in terms of stats.

Although England's team are much better than Iceland, as can see from below, their performance is WAY BELOW PAR. Iceland was great collectively, good defending, good cohesion and good team spirit.

If you watch football, or for Americans, soccer, in the top 5 leagues in Europe, you will know most of England's squad but you will not know MOST of Iceland's players. Look at the TWO PLAYERS of Iceland who had scored. Ragnar Sigurðsson, a player who plays in the RUSSIAN LEAGUE! Although he plays for FC Krasnodar, which got the 4th place in the Russian Premier League, you have to know that he scored 2 minutes after Rooney, the English player who scored from a PENALTY KICK! The second one, Kolbeinn Sigþórsson, a player who is playing in France's Ligue 1...BUT he is playing for the 14th place, FC Nantes! He is not even the club's top striker!!! He scored only 4 times for FC Nantes in 29 appearances. THE goalkeeper let in a low and week shot by Sigþórsson, AND he is one of the TOP GOALKEEPER!!! Huh...
