This post is dedicated to the super sweeping phenomenon anime, so don't switch to another tab or close the tab of your web page. Some people might not like this BUT I will still do it anyway. Well, I had just reviewed Aikatsu and right now, Love Live Sunshine is still ongoing. I'd like to post a review on Love Live movie before Love Live Sunshine ends.
BTW, I found out that my review on Trinity Seven is getting tons of views. I'm wondering why is that so. Can anyone TELL ME?...No answer? OK, OK, let's get started...Shall we?
WARNING:-
SPOILER ALERT!!! If you haven't watched it and plan to watch it without anyone being the spoiler, please DON'T CONTINUE READING!!!
P.S. If you want to be spoiled, well, go ahead and read it. You have been warned.
So sad...
Speaking of the phenomenon, Love Live: The School Idol Movie. Well, it was a phenomenon. Trust me, it WAS. So speaking of the movie storyline, it started with a scene from the second-year students' childhood. The end of the second season as you know(if you watched it) ends with a cliffhanger after the graduation ceremony for Third-year members of μ's...and then Hanayo suddenly running back to the school after reading something from her phone.
What happened, Hanayo?!
Well, in this movie, they found out that the organisers of Love Live! intend to hold the third Love Live competition and aiming to hold it within Tokyo Dome. Cut the long story short, they are required to spread the appeal of school idols to even more people by sending them to America, where a TV agency has offered to do a cover on them. Well, even though they had already decided to disband, they agree to perform in order to help Love Live! gather more support, as they are still school idols until the end of the month.
New York City...
Well, during their trip, μ's continues to enjoy themselves as tourists and at the same time, preparing for their trip to New York. Their time in New York ended with the song, Angelic Angel, in New York's Times Square and Central Park. However, there was a time when Honoka gets separated from the rest of the group, and somehow was led back to her hotel safely by the girl, who somehow vanished and left her with a question, AND a microphone set. Wanna know the question? Watch it yourself. This WHOLE storyline got me wondering, "Is this a Bollywood movie or some sort of High School Musical movie genre?"
Umi crying after Honoka somehow found the way back to her hotel.
BTW, after their trip to New York, μ's had become tremendously popular, with the whole of Akihabara covered in their advertisements and goods. Guess what? Now, they are now stars, needing to sneak around wearing disguises, with the insert song ?←HEARTBEAT playing. Now...this is starting to become like some Bollywood movie (or some Disney movie)...
They did not know that they are already popular in Japan
OK...this is where it gets pretty much like a drama. With all of their fans asking them to continue forever, they start to waver regarding their decision to disband, realising that they have to answer their fans. Well, they have ONLY two choices, that is to surpass the barrier of being only school idols and become actual idols, or to hold onto their original determination and halt activities upon the third years' graduation. All of the members especially Honoka is in a dilemma, with the meeting with the school principal and the members of A-RISE, which further complicated the dilemma.
Troubled...
In the middle of a rainstorm, Honoka once again saw the mysterious girl who left her a question and hopes to thank her...BUT she ended in some sort of a trance...Man, this is getting weird...Don't ask me who is that mysterious girl. NOBODY KNOWS. There are theories on who is this mysterious girl, illusion, Honoka's grown-up self, and so on...Anyway, Eli sends Honoka a message on behalf of the third years after they had discussed it, telling her their decision to stop activities.
Sending a message to Honoka...
Honoka wakes up the next morning and heads to the school rooftop, where everyone has come to the same decision. AND THEN, Honoka announces her final idea, to hold a concert to promote all school idols as their final contribution to the industry. She went to UTX High School where she pitches the idea to Tsubasa, who accepts it readily. Despite having sent emails to all school idols across the country, not many of them are accepting of it, instead decided to hold invitation off for further consideration. OK, anyways, Honoka decided that to meet them personally in order for their feelings to get through. So, long story short, they go across the nation to convince school idols to join their endeavour.
Honoka discussing the matter with Tsubasa
Long story short, A LOT of school idols from all around Japan accept it and a massive crowd gathers in Akiba. They begin to prepare for the school idol festival. Kotori and Anju work together on the costumes, while Maki and Tsubasa work on the song. On the final evening before the event, Honoka announces to everyone the news of μ's disbandment, to everyone's dismay. Long story short, after finished preparing, the festival begins with the performance of SUNNY DAY SONG, which is now the song for all school idols.
The performance...
Well, the whole story took quite a leap. Man, suddenly Yukiho, Honoka's sister and Alisa, Eli's sister are shown as third years. They gave a welcoming speech to the freshmen, talking about how the school was saved by μ's and talking about their final performance. The movie concludes with the song called Bokutachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari, where μ's is shown performing at Tokyo Dome, most likely at the third Love Live...maybe. That's my opinion. The location of their final performance is not given to us. So, use your IMAGINATION...
The last performance by μ's
It is quite a ride after watching Love Live Season 1, Season 2, OVA, and the movie. Oh yeah! The OVA! The OVA has nothing much to say except it talks a bit about a weird dream and pretty much weird stuff. The OVA then suddenly introduces us to a NEW song, Music S.T.A.R.T!!
Music S.T.A.R.T!!
Well, overall the movie feels kind of not on par with Season 1 and 2...maybe it is just the timing of when I watched the anime. Looking back the anime's story is just fine but it is not GREAT, EXCELLENT kind of storyline. After I watched Aikatsu, I like its storyline more than Love Live's. BUT Love Live still holds a special place in my heart, NO MATTER WHAT. OK, I give some screenshots from the movie itself BUT not the OVA. It is just too short to give a lot of screenshots. OK, enjoy!
Having a good look on New York City night lights...
Angelic Angel!
Another song:?←HEARTBEAT
WOW...that is extreme...
Honoka is in some trance...I think...wow, some DEEP stuff
Umi, Honoka and Kotori performing....
That ending...
OK, viewers, it's time. This is the end of my post. Thank you for reading and have a good day. May God bless all of you.
If you wanna watch the PV, you watch it here or go and search it on the internet yourself, whichever is fine with me. Sorry I have kinda forgotten to put Aikatsu PV in my previous post. But never mind about that post, it was too long for me to add the PV anyway. Enjoy it!

Hi, people. Well, it was a little dry season where I'm out of ideas to expand and complete the drafts that I have written a while ago. Anyway, it has been a while after Christmas.
