Hi! Welcome! I'd been on a hiatus on my anime reviewing for quite some time and had only recently
written a review on BanG Dream. I need to focus on my studies on the final weeks of this semester. Yes, I'm still studying at university. It's my fault that I'm still stuck at this stage of life. Huh...
|
Time to go for it...BTW, these are some of the characters from the anime. |
Anyway, I had just finished the final episode of the anime that I'm gonna review on this post. Sorry, I didn't realise that the final episode was out as I saw from
anichart.net that it had a LONG WAY to go before the final episode is out so that why I'm late in writing this anime review. Anyway, let's do this. Let's continue the story of the journey of the hero!
WARNING:-
SPOILER ALERT!!! If you haven't watched it and plan to watch it without anyone being the spoiler, please DON'T CONTINUE READING!!!
P.S. If you want to be spoiled, well, go ahead and read it. You have been warned.

Remember this? |
Well, I did
mention that the season 2 of Tales of Zestria the X is out. Anyway, for any background story, you can check my previous review or go on and search on the internet.
|
Remember? BTW, this picture looks badass... |
This season of Tales of Zestria the X continues from the end of the war between the two nations of the world, Hyland and Rolance. Sorey decided to depart for Rolance together with Rose, the young woman who he met during his first visit into the human world from Elysia. After a series of incidents, he found out that she is an assassin, killing in the name of justice and for good.
|
Rose's true identity |
He also encounters another seraph, Dezel, who is kind of a protector for Rose and helps her in her assassination quest. Later, he and Rose join Sorey's team as Sorey heads the Northern Lands to face the Heldalf, the Lord of Calamity. On the way, another seraph, Zaveid, who Sorey has met before, joins the Shepherd gang, or should I say Sorey's team. Well, cut the long short, Dezel sacrificed himself to clear the way for the gang to face the Lord of Calamity, which had a sad but kind of cruel backstory. It involves the previous shepherd sacrificing himself and his sister's baby to place a REALLY HORRIBLE curse on Hedalf, the soon-to-be Lord of Calamity after Hedalf himself allows the shepherd's village to be destroyed in a war for the advancement of his own course.
|
This guy, the former shepherd...cursed Hedalf, the soon to be Lord of Calamity |
When Sorey faced him and tried to purge the malevolence multiple times from the Lord of Calamity himself, he found out that it is almost impossible to purge the Lord of Calamity's malevolence, EVEN with his best attempt by conducting the Armitization of ALL of the seraphs that are with him. Later, he decided that he had to sacrifice himself to 'seal' the Lord of Calamity off to calm him down and slowly purifying him. After the sealing of Hedalf is completed, Maotelus say that the world is finally able to move towards peace with the help of Sorey.

Well, you might ask, "So what happens next?". Everybody lives a peaceful life and suddenly, Sorey is back into his world. His best friend, Mikleo realizes it and runs to meet Sorey. After a little bit of an emotional reunion, they decided to go to explore the ruins around the world once again before returning to Elysia. It was an AMAZING story. You really SHOULD watch it. Really. Anyways, let's move on...to the screenshots and PV section. Enjoy!

Conclusion
Well, it feels great to be able to at least have the time to write this review but I would like to apologise as my finals are near and I need to study more instead of doing my anime review and watching anime. It would be quite a while before I start again. Maybe in a month or more. Cannot guarantee. SO...I hope to have you here again. God bless you and have a good day. Goodbye!
