Hi! How is life? I have recently slowed down a bit in terms of publishing new blog posts because last week was a busy week, especially for the first 3 days. Also, I did have a little hard time writing out the blog post about Mushoku Tensei's 1st ending song. Well, I made it in the end, isn't it?

Anyway, since last week was also another busy week for me, leaving me really weary and still lacking the motivation to increase or maintain the intensity of publishing new posts about anime still persists, I'm gonna talk about another anime song, Etude of Radiance. LET GO!

The album...

The song, Kagayaki no Etude (in Japanese, 輝きのエチュード), translated in English as the Etude of Radiance is the insert theme song of Aikatsu! The Movie. Remember that movie? This is the song sung by Hoshimiya Ichigo's singing voice actor, Waka from STAR☆ANIS. There is also the prototype version, which is sung by Kodama Saori, Kanon's singing voice. The song is written by Kodama Saori and was composed and arranged by Ishihama Kakeru from MONACA. Anyway, moving on...

Asking Naoto a favour...

This song...well, it was made by Kanon in the anime (leaving aside the real-life writer for the moment as we talk about the Aikatsu movie). Keeping it short, Ichigo wanted to have someone to make a song for her to sing at the special concert. She, together with Aoi and Ran, first asks Naoto Suzukawa the cleaning guy who is secretly a band member to write a song for her, but Naoto says he won't be the right person, but instead leads them to another person, Kanon, a local singer and songwriter.

Well, they then went and met her when she was having a street concert. They approached and convinced her to make a song for Ichigo for her upcoming concert. She later found Mizuki's intention to quit being an idol when she responded to her message by entering the venue where she was gonna have the concert will be held. This whole encounter left her shocked and possibly slightly sad. She told her best friends, Ran and Aoi about this.

Anyway, regardless of what Mizuki said, she decided to do her best for her concert while keeping her hopes of Mizuki attending this concert alive. It's also Ichigo's way to give her audience and fans a smile on their faces, bring warmth to their heart and give them the strength to move on in life. Well, that's the essence of what she said before singing this song. Isn't the song sweet, warm and fuzzy? I really like it a lot. Maybe I will...yeah...never mind, anyway, let's move on.
