Introduction

FA Girls!!!

Introduction? Well, I did give a proper intro in this post. Anyway, long story short...this series, Frame Arms Girl (in Japanese: フレームアームズ・ガール) started as a spin-off model kit line and then was adapted into a manga back in December 2016. Later, an anime television series based on the line was made and aired from April 3, 2017, to June 19, 2017. The film that I'm talking about now is the latest anime adaptation, Frame Arms Girl: Kyakkyau Fufu na Wonderland. It was released on June 29, 2019. Well, well, isn't it so close to that moment when we found Covid-19? Anyway, let's move on.

The manga cover...

Plot

The box that started everything...

This movie...I can't really say much as it is mostly a compilation movie of the scenes from the TV series with a bit of new content and new footage. It did start with a story but then, it turns out to be just a venue to do a replay of the old content back in the anime. I'm not really expecting much frankly since this anime is to promote their new toy collection.

You are back, Gourai!

Anime Rating

Story (Rating: 5/10)

The movie is mostly flashbacks and only has some original story. The old story is just being presented in a different manner and the new story is quite mediocre. It's not bad but it's neither good either. I'm not expecting much from a TV animation that is used to promote their new line of collectable toys.

Time for a recap party!!!

Art and Animation (Rating: 8/10)

It is pretty much the same as the anime itself. Nothing much to say. Nothing new. Probably only some extra animations in order to make it slightly different from the previous anime.

This is from the movie. Ori.

Sound and Music (Rating: 6/10)

Nothing much to talk about frankly whether it be the soundtracks or the theme songs. The theme songs are basically from the previous anime. It's not that the theme songs are bad but the lack of freshness in this movie is telling. Nothing much I could say.

Interesting one...

Characters (Rating: 5/10)

Other than having the characters that we had and like from the previous series, there is nothing much to say about this since this movie is practically a filler movie for their possible sequel, which they did hint in their anime (and which I doubt that it will be launch at all).

The girls are back!

Enjoyment (Rating: 5/10)

The flashback of the show is pretty good. Interesting, I say, this movie. I did hope for a season 2 as it did hint at one back in the anime. Anyway, it's unlikely, I guess, given the current condition of the world right now.

Time to inspect the mystery box...

Overall Rating: 5.6 (5.75)/10

Countdown!

Ah. That's the title screen.

Conclusion

Oh, you are here? Regarding this post, there is seriously nothing much to say to talk about because there is hardly any original story in this movie. Anyway, regarding my previous post on Higehiro, I didn't expect it to have such low views early on. It was less than 10 views. HAIYA! Probably because of the title. Whatever. Well, I hope that you enjoy reading this blog post and browsing through this blog. Goodbye, and God bless you!

Time to go!
