Introduction

So...IT'S TENSHI NO 3P!!!!!

Tenshi no 3P!

Anyway, disregard that loud scream, the anime, Tenshi no 3P, which is officially read as Tenshi no 3 Piece (like really, seriously) is adapted from the light novel of the same name. The light novel is written by Sagu Aoyama, illustrated by Tinkle and published under ASCII Media Works since June 2012 under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. There are also two manga adaptations by ASCII Media Works. Really? Do they need to do that? Anyway, the anime is adapted by Project No.9 and was aired from July to September 2017.

Plot

OK, let's start to talk about the plot. Let's go!

The girls...

Our MC, Nukui Kyō is a teenager who refuses to go to school and spends his days composing songs and publishing them online. Yes, this is the story. Anyway, one day, he receives an email from someone and plans to meet him in the park. Well, lo and behold, a loli appears! Should he run? Or should he call the police? Neither because she and her two friends are the people that he should be meeting.

Kyou's meeting with Jun

The trio (which consists of Gotō Jun, Momijidani Nozomi and Kaneshira Sora) is actually orphaned little girls who lived in a church, which had turned into an orphanage. They ask for his help to hold a performance at the church where they live. He is indeed intrigued by their request and impressed with their skills but hesitates. Did he help them? Yes, in the end, he decides to help them with their quest.

The girls playing...

There are problems that follow them as they move towards their common goal. At first, the head of the orphanage where they live, Masayoshi Sawatari asks Kyō to dissuade the girls, which he didn't do accordingly. He also will find out that one of his classmate, Toriumi Sakura (who secretly helps him to return to school), lives there with the girls. BTW, she also secretly likes him. Really. Other than that, they have to get over their problem of not being friendly with their classmates and not mixing with them, in which they relented and invited them into their first performance (which held in the church). Also, besides this obstacle, there is also another obstacle for them to overcome, which is actually more like minor jealous harassment. You see it in the next paragraph.

The head of the orphanage

There is a girl which he had contact with online. She invites him to the resort for the concert where she lives but she secretly plans to in a way, taking the trio down because they are in the way of her relationship with her. Well, that's what she perceives. Jealousy really creates a lot of problems, isn't it? After the whole mess, Kyō somehow 'gain' two more lolis into his 'harem'. Hehe...just kidding. The girl who draws the illustration for Kyō is Ogi Koume (in the net, she uses the alias, Kiriyume). She later then declares him to be her husband and herself to be his 'true wife'. This is really crazy. There is a girl who helps Koume and follows Koume to the mainland is Aigae Yuzuha. Yes, they did go to the mainland of Japan and go to a school near Kyō residence.

The evil plan...

Actually, Koume is not free to go out of the resort island where Kyō and the gang where they went for the concert. The whole incident that involves Yuzuha and Koume planning to sabotage their trip was exposed by Sakura unintentionally as she was quote, "finding herself". Anyway, the two girls, Koume and Yuzuha create quite a lot of extra problems for Kyō and the girls, Lien de Famille (which consist of Jun, Nozomi, and Sora). All because of Koume's spoiled brat attitude and her arrogance. She was put off by the girls and Kyō himself. She decided to form a 'band' consisting of Yuzuha and herself and then recruiting Kyō's little sister, Kurumi. Well, I would like to call the band, 'Please Notice Me, Oniichan' band since it doesn't have an actual name. Why? Because the trio (except for Yuzuha probably) wants Kyō's attention. Kurumi hopes that his brother put more attention on her (instead of the girls from Lien de Famille. Obviously jealous.) and Koume hopes to actually one day marries Kyō (seriously, this is real) but instead he puts most of his attention on the girls from Lien de Famille.

The duo. On the left is Koume and on the right is Yuzuha.

Anyway, the story is quite typical, if you ask me. Pretty similar to the anime, Ro-Kyu-Bu. The girls that are under the help and guidance of a high school student. Well, this winter, there is another similar anime like this upcoming by Project No.9. OK, without further ado, let's go to the next segment!

Anime Rating

Story (Rating: 6/10)

The story is pretty similar Ro-Kyu-Bu as I had said. Just like Ro-Kyu-Bu, the fanservice could potentially put you off but this time, unlike Ro-Kyu-Bu, I can't really a lot more. Why? The character development is not as strong as the ones in Ro-Kyu-Bu. One, in terms of skills, they are already quite good at it. They just need to learn a bit more. Two, the development is mostly focused on Kyō and Jun. Well, although there is development in the girls in different other ways (mostly skills), there is not much of development overall, which makes one feels like one is watching a loli fanservice anime.

Art and Animation (Rating: 6/10)

As for the arts and animation, they are pretty well done. That's all. Nothing much to say about that. They are pretty standard in the modern anime industry.

The performance in the resort island

Sound and Music (Rating: 8/10)

The OP and ED are fine. The BGM is pretty well done and well placed throughout the anime. Well, except for one part. Well, not that it is not well-placed. It helps exacerbate the situation, which could make the situation even more suggestive than it should be. Well, that could be what the animator wants, isn't it? Oh yeah, I have forgotten! There are quite a number of good insert songs within the anime although not to the point that they become my favourite.

A scene from the opening...

Characters (Rating: 8/10)

Characters? Cute! I said, CUTE!!! Anyway, even though there is a general lack of development in the development of character, the girls are cute in EVERY WAY! Jun's shyness, Nozomi's obvious tsundere-ness, Sora's lack of any expression, Sakura's obvious tsundere-ness (also), and many other different characteristics of the characters. Anyway, I do like the characters' cuteness and their interactions.

The girls in the hot springs...

Enjoyment (Rating: 8/10)

I did enjoy this anime, although not to the point where I will watch it again. Yes, the fanservice DID spoil the fun for me. I admit. There is a chance that it will provoke the FBI or the police. Nah, I'm just kidding here. LOL. Anyway, it's a cute and light-hearted anime to watch.

Conclusion

A bit on the name before I end this, why is it Angel's 3 piece (or Tenshi no 3P)? Well, I have no idea. In the anime, there is nothing related to 3 pieces of anything except maybe the fact there is a trio in the anime. Anyway, this is the end. Hope you all enjoy it. Hope to see ya again. Goodbye, and God bless you!

Well, I did NOT BS my way out of this. Anyway, just for fun here.
