I've talked about it before but this post is another one of those settling my "old scores" post. Anyway, let's start!

I'll give a brief intro of the series here since I didn't do a proper one
previously. Anyway, the series Show By Rock!! (in Japanese, ショウ・バイ・ロック!!) is originally a rhythm video game that is developed and published by Geechs, in conjunction with Sanrio. This game is also known by its other name, Show By Rock!! Gonna be a Music Millionaire! This game was released on July 30, 2013, for iOS and on June 27, 2014, for Android devices. The anime adaptation (which we are gonna talk about once again) was done by the studio Bones, which was aired in Japan between April and June 2015. There was also a short anime aired from July to September 2016 and a second season premiered on October 2, 2016. With the short intro done, let's go straight into the rating since I have done plot talks previously. Anyway, I won't be talking about the OVA as it is just pure entertainment purpose without a story.

Anime Rating
Season 1
Story (Rating: 10/10)
The story is pretty similar in structure to isekai stories, like No Game No Life and to stories like Sword Art Online. Anyway, the story is about defeating an evil force who is trying to take over the sound world. The story is a typical hero's journey story but it is the reason why it is so good. The hero's journey style of storytelling is a popular style of storytelling. Anyway, the plot of the story is obviously good. The flow and pacing of the story are well-done. The story is easy to understand too.

Art and Animation (Rating: 9/10)
Similar to Aikatsu and Kantai Collection, there is the use of two different animation styles. The change in animation style is fine because of the nature of the show (which is similar to Aikatsu in a way). Anyway, good animation overall and pretty consistent animation wise.

Sound and Music (Rating: 9/10)
Good music! Why not?! The good opening theme song, decent closing theme song and great insert songs are a good recipe for strongly music-based anime.

Characters (Rating: 10/10)
CUTE GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah! Anyway, it does have a huge focus on Cyan but it also has pretty good character development for the side characters. Good stuff there. The relatability? There are probably quite relatable. I'm thinking of making a band (hopefully). And also ain't the characters in this anime cute? xD

Enjoyment (Rating: 10/10)
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ENJOYED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CUTE GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who doesn't like cute girls? Plus, there is plenty of good music there. xD

Season 2
Story (Rating: 10/10)
Once again, a simple format of storytelling. The sound world and Midi city in trouble once again and Cyan is being summoned once again. The plot of the story is as good as the previous season. The flow and pacing of the story are well-done. The story is easy to understand too. All of these are just like the last season of Show By Rock. Amazing.

As good as the previous season. The character looks cute...and animation is good and consistent. That's all I could say.

Good music, just like the previous season. There are the good opening theme song, decent closing theme song and great insert songs.

Characters (Rating: 10/10)
Undeniably good!!!! No question! Anyway, the character development is really essential to winning the final battle against the ultimate boss. The development is not on Cyan's character and skill. It is also on the many side characters. Good stuff. Relatability? I'm not too sure myself. It could be? To be honest, it is a fantasy show. At best, you relate to that from the lessons that you could learn from the anime.

No difference...YES, I ENJOYED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CUTE GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who doesn't like cute girls? Plus, there is plenty of good music there. Yeah, deja vu, right? xD

Conclusion
Oh...I would like to say something. I'm planning to slow down on my blog writing as I find myself left behind on my anime watching schedule.
