MORE Aikatsu!!! It's time for the Aikatsu Fanfare!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, people! How is life? Good? I'm fine too. It has been a while since I have started a new blog post without a certain format. Man, it's so nostalgic. When did I last do this? Ahem! Anyway, time to get the topic.

After a "catch-up" session with the Aikatsu movie series, I've decided to talk about the anime series, which is a continuation of Aikatsu Friends (I think so). Oh, did someone asked, "what is it?". Oh, it is Aikatsu on Parade!!!!! It's been given names like Aikatsu Friends 2: The Friendening, Aikatsu Friends 2: Friend Harder, Aikatsu Friends Ultimate. I also give names like Aikatsu Friends 2: The Ultimate Friendzone, Aikatsu on Steroids and Aikatsu Friends 2: Hardcore Befriending.

This is the Aikatsu on Parade anime...

Let's start with Wikipedia's introduction to this anime:

Aikatsu on Parade! (アイカツオンパレード! Aikatsu on Parēdo!) is an arcade collectable card game in Bandai's Data Carddass line of machines, which launched on October 5, 2019. It is the spin-off to the Aikatsu!, Aikatsu Stars! and Aikatsu Friends! series of arcade games. The game revolves around using collectible cards featuring various clothes to help aspiring idols pass auditions. An anime television adaptation by BN Pictures premiered on October 5, 2019.

Anyway, the announcement of this show is made on the 17th of August 2019 when Aikatsu Friends is still ongoing. At first, it will start after the 100 episode benchmark. And obviously, I didn't read the memo properly on its release date and the nature of the announcement. With that ignorance and lack of preparation on this anime, I didn't post a special post on this anime early enough (in my opinion).

OK, leaving the backstory of this post aside. Time for the plot. The story starts with Kiseki Raki, a second-year middle school student who transfers to Star Harmony Academy to become an idol. Looks like ordinary Aikatsu scene? Think again! Raki uses the Aikatsu Pass that she received from her elder sister Saya, an Aikatsu engineer. Well, Saya did something to the Aikatsu Pass, which will trigger a series of mysterious events. Eager to know what events? Wait...be patient.

That door...

That mysterious event happens when took her Aikatsu Pass off after her performance on the introductory stage for new students. And somehow, Aine and Mio are caught into this event. What is it then? It is just a special door opens and breaks the fourth wall. No, I'm just kidding here. It is just a door that opens into a room with multiple doors. These doors open to the different Aikatsu Universes as we, the audience knows but the characters don't know it.

This anime is just a nostalgia season for Aikatsu fans who have watched the different Aikatsu anime. Why? It's because characters like Nijino Yume, Hoshimya Ichigo and Oozora Akari returns! Of course, together with the characters from the series. I enjoyed it!!!!!! Oh, is it those travelling into different universe thing again? Yes, you are right! Well, if you are asking what Saya is planning, I dunno. We'll wait and see. BTW, it's time to show you another screenshot of the anime and a few related videos.
