Now, time for BOFURI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Introduction
Anime!!!
The series, Bofuri, which is a short form for Itai no wa Iya nano de Bōgyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu., (In Japanese, 痛いのは嫌なので防御力に極振りしたいと思います。) is a series started out as Japanese light novel series written by Yuumikan and illustrated by Koin. The series' name is translated in English as I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense. Anyway, the novel is serialized online in 2016 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō, which was acquired by Fujimi Shobo. The hard copy came out in September 2017 under their Kadokawa Books imprint.
This is the light novel cover...
Oh, you are asking about other adaptations other than the anime? Well, there is a manga adaptation only other than the anime adaptation. As for the anime TV series, it is done by Silver Link and was aired on January 8, 2020. And also, a second anime season has been announced. YEAH!!!!! Oh, I have another anime that started off as a web novel...Anyway, let's move on.
1st volume of the manga
Plot
Maple chatting with Risa...
Oh, this is the game, New World Online!
The story starts up with a cute loli girl, Honjo Kaede sitting on her bed with her new VR set and a new VRMMORPG game. Wait...this is not Sword Art Online, right? Just joking. The game is actually called New World Online. She urged and egged on my best friend, Shiramine Risa to play the game even though she can't play with her to guide because of her exams (and also her mother).
This kind of scene is something you'll hardly see in this anime.
Well, with the pressure (with shining eyes) from her best friend, Kaede begins her journey in the new game as "Maple". Anyway, from here, we will hardly go to the real-world setting and very much into the New World Online world setting.
Maple choosing her job...
Maple eating the monster...what, wait?!
OK, back to the story. Because she didn't have her gamer friend Risa to guide her and she is afraid of feeling pain, she becomes a shield user in-game and adds all her status point to Defence (or Vitality, in this game). She then went on a crazy journey to become strong before her friend joins. She uses the game's mechanism to get some interesting skills and bit the poison hydra by biting to death (and gaining poison immunity in the process). WTF?! Wait, you can bite a boss to death?! What kind of game have I been playing all this while?!
Maple's action in the 1st event
Maple joins the first in-game event and got third place with her ridiculous skill sets (especially hunger) and new limited equipment from beating the hydra. Risa later heard of her in-game endeavour and is shocked by it. Anyway, with her friend Risa completed her exams well, Risa joins Kaede on New World Online as "Sally". From then on, they will go through this game together as partners and best friends. Throughout the journey, Kaede/Maple and Risa/Sally go on a journey to strengthen their in-game characters. While Sally goes the conventional route to improve her agility heavy build (because of Kaede's skill build), Maple earns and buy some interesting and unexpected skill (and sometimes, crazy and weird skills), which compensates for some of her weaknesses (for example, her slow movement speed and lack of attacking skill).
A flying tortoise! What?!
So yeah, this anime basically how Maple gets and earns different weird and crazy skills and have an ULTRA high amount of defence stat. It was an interesting experience watching this anime. I watched it all in one night. I love it!!! Anyway, it's time to move on.
LOL! What are doing, Maple?
Anime Rating
Story (Rating: 9/10)
The story kinda feels an isekai anime...maybe...maybe, it's just me. Anyway, the story is mostly surrounding Maple's crazy in-game adventure but it didn't miss the side character's adventure, like Sally's imba adventure. I like it! The way that Maple becomes strong is very interesting and is a breath of fresh air. The story's pacing and flow are good. The story is easy to understand as it doesn't leave the viewers confused about the story and its setting. Well, of course, the story in the anime is a reduced version of the original work but the anime has presented it well. The only thing is that I'm a little worried about the continuation as it depended on the fresh idea of craziness. It could get boring if there is no good sequel to the story.
The 4th event...
Art and Animation (Rating: 10/10)
The fighting scenes in this show are well-made. They are consistent, well-drawn and appropriate frame arrangement. Also, the movement of the characters is well-drawn and animated. The characters...they are SOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!! The art of this show is great. Good lighting and good colour scheme choice.
Beautiful scenery and sunflowers
Interesting dinner table...
Sound and Music (Rating: 8/10)
The opening and closing theme songs are pretty good but sadly, they are not my cup of tea. Well, at least, the BGM and their placement are good. xD
From the opening sequence...
Characters (Rating: 8/10)
Although I dun have a character in this show that I like a lot, the development of the different characters in-game is really interesting. Other than Maple tendencies to get skills that are just this world (literally), Sally is also very powerful because of her incredible reflexes in real life. The other members in Maple's guild are also very strong and have done very well in the final event in the anime. Overall, rather than inner character development, the development of characters are mostly on their in-game level and abilities. Relatability? Well, at least I dun think that Maple's incredible ability to randomly get a new, powerful (or sometimes weird) skills and defeating the bosses that are hard to beat is in ANY WAY relatable.
Maple, Maple and Maple. It's all about Maple/Kaede.
Enjoyment (Rating: 10/10)
I ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH!!!!!!!! I have EVEN watched parts of certain episodes multiple times. Great show with new surprises in every episode! Will watch it again when I'm free. XD

Conclusion
Oh, we're at the end of the post already? That's a little sad...Anyway, I'm working on a few new blog posts so I hope that I can continue to talk more about anime on my blog. Oh, BTW, there is another extension of the Conditional MCO, which is the more relaxed version of MCO. OK...I hope that you enjoy reading and browsing this blog. Goodbye, and God bless you!
Cheers!!! We can see cute Maple in the next season again! YEAH!!!
Hi. How has your life been in recent times? I'm a bit on edge after taking so long to publish that post on that Shigure Ui song . She already has another song featuring her loli self and her "teen" self in a "fight" with each other. We can talk about it if I want to and if I feel like it. It might or might not happen. Nod Krai... Anyway, the song I'm gonna talk about here is really unique, since it is related to a game I have been playing for years, Genshin Impact. This song is related to the archon quest in Nod Krai. I was so looking forward to the Nod Krai archon quest (before the release of the 1st Nod Krai weekly boss). I really love the song that Columbina sing so I went and did some research on it. The name is Lullaby of the New Moon (I): Somnias a Luna. Since I have gone through that archon quest, I will discuss it here. WARNING:- This song is strongly tied to...
