AIKATSU!!! Hinaki-chan, happy birthday!!!! Time for Hello Hello!

Hello, people. How is life? I'm doing fine but this month is a busy month so forgive me for posting less. Anyway, today is a special day for someone special. So, I'm gonna post something that I wanted to publish for a really long time. Oh, before I move on, have you read my previous blog post? I will be really happy if you did so. xD

Back to the topic. This post will be about one of my favourite songs from Aikatsu, Hello Hello. It's one of the many insert songs in OG Aikatsu. Also, today is Shinjou Hinaki's birthday. SO, YEAH, I AM VERY ECSTATIC! So, let's GOOOO!!!!!

Hmmm...How should I introduce this song? Ah! Ya...as I have said, this song is one of the many insert songs in Aikatsu. The song debuted back in 2016 during season 4 of the anime. So yeah...I like this song...and Shinjo Hinaki!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!! AHEM! Anyway, back to the topic and let's move on.

Hinaki-chan!!!! KYA!!!!

I first heard this song back when I watched the final season of Aikatsu. Of course, it was sung by Shinjou Hinaki's singing voice actor, Miki from AIKATSU☆STARS! Oh...ah, I have forgotten to tell you that. Anyway, this song...the scene when she sings that song...her outfit at that moment...makes me fall in love with her.

Hinaki's doing good

During the episode where this song is first presented (which is episode 169 or episode 17 of "Season 4"), Shinjou Hinaki, like many other Starlight Academy students, is thinking of ways to become the Starlight Queen. My dear Hinaki-chan, she has requested a new Premium Rare Dress from Kayoko, the top designer of her favourite brand Vivid Kiss. Her excitement to compete in the Starlight Queen Cup and her energetic display in all her new fashion magazine gigs have many including the cameraman and her friends noticing it and complimenting her.

Time to go out to find some inspiration...

Anyway, from the moment she requested it, Kayoko, the designer immediately agreed to the request. From then on, it's time to gather the ideas to create an extraordinary Premium Rare Dress. One of the things that they decided to do to get some ideas is to go and watch Natsuki Mikuru's stage performance as an idol. After that, they came and meet her personally. Mikuru suggests that they hit the town for some inspiration. Well, it was a nice and chill moment.

After that, Mikuru brings up the idea of a "retreat" to further plan for the new Premium Dress at Vivid Kiss' seaside cottage. During their time there, they continue to brainstorm ideas for the new outfit. Even though Kayoko had completely forgotten the plans with a certain French television program on that day until the crew's arrival, Mikuru came up with the idea that Vivid Kiss' portion of the documentary could focus on the retreat. Also, during their "retreat", as Hinaki shows her worries about her performance for the new dress reveal, Mikuru assures her and encourages her to continue to do the best she can. Hinaki saw a bunch of paint buckets with unfinished paint and decided to bring Mikuru to execute her idea.

The following day, Kayoko and the film crew are shocked to see the building has been covered in colourful paint done by Hinaki and Mikuru. Kayoko falls in love with it as Hinaki wonders if they went a little overboard. She then compliments their inspiring idea and quickly resumes working on her design.

To cut the long story short, the dress was done due to that inspiration. Hinaki wore it to perform this song and successfully did her Fever Appeal. So, why the whole story narrative? Well, one, I want to write about the story. Two, the story is important for me to tell the idea that the song fits really well with Hinaki's appeal overall (at least for me). She is energetic, passionate and sometimes, a bit sentimental. Also, I believe she enjoyed her time with Mikuru a lot even though it was finding inspiration for her new dress. At one point in time, she was saddened to part ways after their time going out into the streets to find inspiration before Mikuru proposed to continue the search for inspiration in a "retreat". Oh, I wish I can...never mind, let's move on, shall we? I think this part is getting a bit too long.
