Plot
|
The imprisoned princess |
The story follows Princess Syalis, a young princess who was kidnapped by the Demon King to be used as a hostage against the human kingdom. However, instead of being afraid, Syalis is more interested in getting a good night's sleep in her new surroundings. Wait, what?! Yep, from then, she goes on various adventures throughout the castle to find ways to make her sleeping experience more comfortable, much to the frustration of the demons who have taken her captive.
|
The princess sleeping in loli form |
Why is she like that? The princess had grown tired of the stress of royal life and is indifferent to the situation and take it as having a long vacation from royal work. From then, her attempts to find ways to have a good night's sleep become the running gag of the whole anime. That's it. It's pretty simple, isn't it? Nothing more I could say. Moving on...

Go and have your good night's sleep, princess. |
Anime Rating
Story (Rating: 10/10)
The anime's comedic take on the fantasy genre, blending humour and fantasy elements creates a unique and entertaining story that I (and I believe, many others) will enjoy. The story is simple to understand and has a good flow and pacing.

Art and Animation (Rating: 8/10)
Simple art and animation for an anime with comedy and classic fantasy. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, I think that the animation suit this story really, especially with the facial expressions. Also, it looks really pretty at times, especially the many different times when the princess is sleeping and the glow from the cloth monster's body.

Sound and Music (Rating: 8/10)
The opening and ending theme song fits the anime really well. The background music does very well to bring out the best of every scene in the anime

Characters (Rating: 10/10)
There is practically no character growth but only humorous interaction between the princess and the monsters. Well, it's good. I like it. xD
