Hi~! How are you? I have finally published that blog post on BokuYaba. It took me quite a while because I'm either too distracted by my games or too busy with work, or just too lazy to complete it after being tired from work. Oof indeed. But, anyway, I did it! That is what matters, ain't it?

Anyway, this time, I feel like talking about a song from the Love Live franchise. Well, it's not from the anime, but it went viral after the Love Live Asia Tour in Yokohama on February 1 & 2, 2025. To be honest, I only noticed around last month when a friend of mine kept having the Discord activity of him listening to the song. I will talk about the details a bit later. The song was released on January 22, 2025, written by aim, and composed and arranged by DJ Chika a.k.a. INHERIT and Hayato Yamamoto. The song only went viral after the Love Live! Series Asia Tour 2024 ~Minna de Kanaeru Monogatari~ (in Japanese, LoveLive! Series Asia Tour 2024 ～みんなで叶える物語 ～) on February 1 & 2, 2025, in Yokohama. That call-and-response part is the one that went viral.

As for how I knew this song, I have said it went viral long before I noticed it last month. I saw it when my friend on Discord kept listening to it on Spotify. I initially thought it was some song with a punny title, as it literally rhymes with ice cream. Same for the group name. I did not think much of it until curiosity got the best of me one day. Well, as they say, the rest is history. I've gotten quite hooked on this song. Oh, one thing, this song is hard to translate. I think it's gonna be ugly because this song fits into a category where translation would do no justice to the song, and that is putting it lightly. Kindly read the translation with... eh... caution, I guess? Oh, by the way, they actually released a lyrics video. Wow. It went THAT viral. Wow.
