As I am patiently waiting for Dog Days Season 3 to start airing (which is next year January), I watched an anime called Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate because I watched a video on a song named Endless Tear. The video is as shown below:-
Well, there is one glimpse of the anime. Find it yourself. For the introduction, I will directly pick the introduction from Wikipedia, with some changes. This anime is also known as Koichoco (恋チョコ). (BTW, this is its short form). It is a Japanese adult visual novel, developed by Sprite, which was adapted as an anime that is being released in July 2012. Well, the game was released in Japan on October 29, 2010, for Windows PCs and later ported to the PlayStation Portable on September 27, 2012.
Well, after all this talk, you should know that this story is based on one route (perhaps?), which is...OK, you watch it yourself...and if you like the main character to go another route, you can go to play the game. OK? 始めましょか?Wait! One more thing, do you know why my blog title has the word, 'Unsung Anime'? Well, you know unsung hero like the hero that is not being spoken much about, 'unsung anime'. Get it? Don't get it then never mind.
WARNING:-
SPOILER ALERT!!! If you haven't watched it and plan to watch it without anyone being the spoiler, please DON'T CONTINUE READING!!!
P.S. If you want to be spoiled, well, go ahead and read it. You have been warned.
At first, I expected that Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate(恋と選挙とチョコレート) would be your typical school club romance type anime (judging its appearance and approach). Well, people who watched for the first time will think that way, right? (Hopefully, I'm right...)
OK...somehow he is caught up like this...
Well, the story goes like this: Our main character, Yuki Ojima is somehow caught up in going for an election for the presidency of the school council. Well, there are struggles when he is trying to get votes and trying to win the election. He got himself into several situations....and well, if you observe carefully, you will see quite several people is in love with the main character, including his very-easily-gets-jealous osananajimi, Chisato.
Yuki Ojima: ME?!
Well, ignoring most of the details, the main character somehow got caught in the struggle of Chisato, that is she cannot get through her younger brother's(Daiki's) death. Well, the main character is in love with Chisato but he always thought that he is Daiki's replacement as she never really gets through her brother's death. You want to know why? Well, those who watched should know why (if you don't know, then watch it again)...but those who don't know,...watch it yourself. Well, in the end, he won the election and Satsuki (his opponent in the election) became the vice president (in which the visual novel, he never won, izzit? Please correct me if I'm wrong). BTW, here are some of the screenshots of the series...
Satsuki...getting a hit on Ojima
Cute aren't they?
Don't go...
Wedding?! Seriously...
Michiru blush
Isara...
That reaction...
Another character...
Sorry for having so little to say about this anime but seriously, there is nothing much to talk about, another than the election, the love story and some association with chocolate. Well, watch it yourself for more details...and if you ask me what do I think of it, I would say: "For me, I found out the story is actually is like someone who is trying to draw a line of best fit or a best-fit curve into the graph. If you just look at the anime, it's like who somehow managed to draw by freehand a nice bell-shaped curve. But...if you compare the visual novel with the anime, it is somehow like what I'd say...trying to draw the best line of fit. Well, overall it is well presented, and I'd say like 'Yeah, good or should I say, decent anime to watch'."
Just an example of drawing the line of the best line of fit....no offence
Well, honestly if you want to play the game, the first thing you need to do is to get through the guilt trip. This is because the game 'forces' you to play Chisato's route first before going another route. So, I heard a lot of people don't really like the game because of the guilt trip induced by the 'dumping Chisato cycle'. Well, other than that, you have to know that the person who attacked Kana (those who watched the anime or played the game might know who is that) is not revealed in the game (and not even being resolved) but is revealed in the anime (and of course, that idiot and asshole are also later caught by authorities). BTW, here is the opening song (for the anime only)...
Anyway, hope to see you again. Bye. God bless you.
Good day, everybody. How is life? It had been a long time since I found the time and motivation to write it. I was too caught up with gaming and working. No guarantee that I won't have a long gap in between blog posts, just like the time between the post on AiScream and the post on BokuYaba anime . Regarding that AiScream post, it was a fun dive into how a light-hearted song using the "ice-cream" pun became a viral hit and captured the hearts of fans, even though I had a hard time completing it due to my day job's workload and trying too hard to integrate multiple AI chat suggestions. As for that Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu (BokuYaba) post back in May, it was once my really huge obsession. Remember this moment? Oops, it looks like that first paragraph might be a bit too long. Umm....whatever. It's fine, I guess. Anyway, this time, I will continue from that BokuYaba post that I published back in May to talk about a song that still gives me an emotional vibe: B...
Hi, nice to meet you again. How are you? With that one job that has been like that one recurring theme from last year finally settled this year, I am feeling really perked up. My publishing drought is resolved, I think, hopefully. I never thought that I could publish blog posts for Love Live Superstar season 2 and 3 , Black Bullet opening theme song , my story on how I started getting anime merch , and Chuunibyou season 1's opening theme song . Well, that is quite a lot in March. Don't expect me to do that every month, though. Well, you see that when I could only come out with this weekly post in between this post and the posts that I published last March. That moment...when he confesses... Anyway, back to the topic. After watching it, I have been thinking about this anime for quite a while. It really made me wanna write about the anime's second season opening theme song. I decided against it because I haven't talked about the anime itself. SO...time for Boku no Kokor...
Hello! After two special posts ( Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso & Aikatsu ), I gonna to be writing an anime review after finished watching this year. Since I had posted a huge amount of post recently, this time I will take my sweet time to write this post. Of course, I would try to finish it ASAP. Cute, right? Anyway, had guessed what anime is it? Well, it's in the title. Duh! It's RO-KYU-BU! Yes, it's about a bunch of lolis and playing basketball. How? Well, you will see. WARNING:- SPOILER ALERT!!! If you haven't watched it and plan to watch it without anyone being the spoiler, please DON'T CONTINUE READING!!! P.S. If you want to be spoiled, well, go ahead and read it. You HAD been warned. Don't blame me for being spoiled if you INSIST on continuing to read this post.
Welcome back, everyone! How is life, eh? For me, it has been a steady life since my blog post about the opening theme song of BokuYaba season 2, 「僕は…」 . I will try to publish more content with the help of ChatGPT , speeding up the editorial process and structuring my blog posts in a way that suits my requests. Anyway, that song is bursting with sweetness and the awkward thrill of young love, and captures those small, clumsy emotions we all feel when love first starts to bloom. It was a good one, I tell ya. Shana and Yuji are fighting together...Remember this? But today, we’re moving from soft and passionate pinks to blazing reds — from innocence to intensity. What am I gonna talk about, you ask? Well, it is the 1st opening theme song of Shakugan no Shana season 2, JOINT by Kawada Mami . Yes, it’s not a soft song — it’s a flame, a fiery and fiercely burning one. BUT, just like 「僕は…」 , it is more than just fiery passion. It is much deeper tha...
