The 'OFFICIAL' Dog Days Season 3 Review: A Review Filled with Kemomimi!!!

Well, well, my blog view has some improvement after I've tried my best to fix it. Whatever...I'll try to post more often anyways. OK! Today I will post the anime review for DOG DAYS''(which is pronounced as Dog Days Season 3)!!! Excited? If you're excited, then proceed on...

Dog Days Season 3!!!

OK, before you proceed on, you might want to see my previous review on Dog Days's previous seasons. Let's start, shall we?

WARNING:-
SPOILER ALERT!!! If you haven't watched it and plan to watch it without anyone being the spoiler, please DON'T CONTINUE READING!!!

P.S. If you want to be spoiled, well, go ahead and read it. You have been warned.

Well, I showed you all a little bit of info regarding this season...but I haven't tell you the story yet. I'm gonna tell you right now. OK, it's a little bit disappointing as its plot models the same way as the second season is. I hoped it would a major event that will last throughout the whole season although there are numerous of fan service in between, which I quite like.

The same one on the previous post on Dog Days''

OK, so...both seasons of Dog Days goes like this:-

A major event ===> Resolution ===> Series of minor events ===> Series of resolutions ==> Again another major event ===> Back to normal life.

Well, that is not really the whole story, it 's just a simplification. Both seasons(all seasons) also includes introducing new characters. But...a few things that are significantly(maybe not so) different are:-
  1. There is not much of war games in Season 3 and only duels but there was both (war games and duels) in the previous seasons.
  2. The focus is not on Eclair anymore but more spread out where else the second season had given more attention to Eclair.
  3. The incidents happened in season 3 is more focused on powerful, demonic creatures or someone who is powerful but the incidents happened in season 2 is more of fighting creature which is not that powerful (most powerful one is only Demon King Valeri, who is not that powerful anyways)
  4. This season has a storytelling session where else the previous seasons didn't have.
  5. This season has much lesser fan service compared to the previous seasons.
Well, thank God for Dog Days'' as Seven Arc presented this season of Dog Days, overall better than on the 2nd season of Dog Days. This is attributed to the epic fight scene rather than a mediocre fighting scene in season 2. Of course, this includes the graphics, it is better than last season. Well, for me, the 1st season is the BEST!

Giving you all a nice view of Flonyard

Well, this feeling makes me wanna argue for the Shakugan no Shana's case on the 3rd and the last season. It was good, OK? Don't make me start an argument on it, OK? Well, it was not easy to understand only, ALRIGHT?! In the future, I might make a review on Shakugan no Shana(all seasons) if I can get someone to help me to get into the YouTube world of videos. I will smash all Shakugan no Shana season 3's haters!!!

Furious...

Ahem...(cough)...ahem...OK, let's get to the topic. Well, if you ask me on whether Dog Days will be getting another season, I would say unlikely...even though I would like to have another season of it. This is because the anime has basically run out of talking point as you've watched it(that is if you have watched it). Well, if you wanna continue, you'll only go for love story or love comedy plotline, which diverts the original plotline and embarks on a whole new different journey. This is...well, not very good as Dog Days always avoids the possibility of a love story happening and always lack the development of a love story. If it starts a love journey, well, it would be quite awkward because of the lack of things to go with it and possibly, more fan service, which is not why I watch Dog Days for (some might love it very much though).

Possibility of routes...well, I dun want it to become like visual novel

OK, it's time for screenshots! As for the details, I won't go into it but I will tell the new character on the way as you see the screenshots. Some screenshots can be seen in the previous post.

Sharl, one of the newly introduced character
