Problematic Child and Their Adventures
Hi! How are you? I'm fine. Well, it looks like it's almost time for Chinese New Year. I have work on Girls und Panzer and Takagi-san. I'm trying to clear my draft and start afresh with the anime that I have enjoyed last year.
Anyway, this one is gonna be about a certain anime that I hope that there will another season but will never happen. It's Mondaiji, short for Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru Sō Desu yo? (問題児たちが異世界から来るそうですよ?). So yeah, let's get started!

The series Mondaiji (問題児), or in English, Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren't they? is a Japanese light novel series written by Tarō Tatsunoko and illustrated by Yū Amano. Anyway, there are two manga adaptations of this series. I'm not gonna talk about them here. Check out the Wikipedia page for it.
The anime adaptation is done by Diomedia, which was aired from January 11, 2013, to March 15, 2013. It is then followed by an extra OVA episode. The series, Mondaiji ended on April 1, 2015, with twelve volumes. This Mondaiji is the 1st part of this series, which kinda reminded me of the Percy Jackson Olympian series by Rick Riodan. It starts with Percy Jackson & the Olympians, to Heroes of Olympus and to The Trials of Apollo. Wait a minute, I'm going out of topic, isn't it?
Anyway, after the first part (Mondaiji) ended, it continues its story with another title, Last Embryo (ラストエンブリオ). Although the author is still the same (still Tatsunoko Tarou), it has a change of a new illustrator, momoco. Anyway, without wasting any more time, it's time for storytelling.
In this world that we are in (be reminded that it happens only in this story), three people (Sakamaki Izayoi, Kudou Asuka & Kasukabe You) are being given the invitation letter to the Little Garden where mystical creatures with extraordinary powers reside. So happened that they are pretty bored with lives on Earth too as they possess unmatched powers.
Those invitation letters transport them to Little Garden after they opened it. They immediately met with a rabbit girl who then challenges them to a Gift Game. What's a Gift Game? It is a high-stakes game (well, it depends on what u put on the table) that the residents use Gifts, which is their supernatural powers to earn wealth and prestige for their communities. Well, if u lose? The best-case scenario is you will lose a Gift. If the worse comes to worst, your community lose even its name, prestige and prosperity, which is what happens to the community that the three of them joins. Oof!
So, yeah, what is the story about? It is about the adventure to save the fallen "No Name" community and help it regain its prosperity. They engage in different Gift Games to get closer to their goals and save the community. There is not much I can say other than that there is one MC that is SO IMBA! OMG! So yeah, they are hilarious moments but quite a lot of good fighting moments too. So, as for the OVA, it is mostly a for-fun and light-hearted Gift Game scene only. Not very heavy BUT sadly, there WON'T be a season 2, I guess.
Overall Rating: 8.2 (7.75)/10
Sorry for the long time that I took to write this. I dun have the drive to write as I have a lot of anime to clear up to reduce my plan-to-watch anime list. Anime Rating
Story (Rating: 8/10)
The story plot is relatively simple, which makes understanding it pretty easy. The story flows and paces itself pretty well. As for the plot of the story, it is a typical isekai story where the character goes into a new world and start their adventure anew except for this one, it is a bunch of OP characters. Anyway, the plot is not very complex to understand and is pretty decent. |

Art and Animation (Rating: 7/10)
The characters are drawn quite well and are quite consistent. It is also the case for the animation itself. Nothing much to comment. |

Sound and Music (Rating: 8/10)
The music...I like the OP a lot...and also one of the insert songs (I think that it was the ONLY insert song). The ED...not so much. BGM is fine though. |

Characters (Rating: 8/10)
Character development? Well, in terms of the skills, there's don't have many improvements and changes. What about the inner character? Pretty much the same, not many changes. Are the characters likeable? They are pretty average, for me (except for the vampire, Leticia). You might like certain characters depending on your preference. Relatability? I dun think there is any. If you do find one, do put it down in the comments below. |

Enjoyment (Rating: 10/10)
I did enjoy it even though most of the characters are pretty average and the story is pretty average. Those were the days where I was a little laxer about my choice of anime. What I enjoy was their adventure to beat different opponents. I hoped for a second season but it looks like it will NEVER happen. |
