Hello, once again! With the MCO extension in my country, I'm gonna be stuck at home for more than a month, which means...I have more time for anime and to publish more new blog post. So yeah, I'm trying to publish as many blog post as I can.

Anyway, I'm gonna write about another anime that completed all its episodes quite a while ago, which is Bandori season 3 (or BanG Dream season 3)!!! Bang! Dreams coming true for our cute girls in Bandori!!!

| The third season is here!!! |
I have briefly introduced the series back when I was talking about
the second season of Bandori. Ah...those days...Oh, sorry, I remembered those tear-jerking moments back in season 2. Anyway, we're talking about the third season of BanG Dream!!!! Anyway, this season is still made by Sanzigen, just like the second season. This season was actually initially planned to be aired last year but it is "occupied" by a movie of the franchise, BanG Dream! Film Live. I'm not gonna talk about this film as there is nothing much to talk about because of the nature of the story being purely about different bands coming up to perform for us. Yes, it is basically Bandori bands are going to perform live stage in an animation. Wow...A gate to the anime world?

| Girls Band Party Pico 2! |
OK, anyway, there is a sequel to BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! ☆ Pico that I do not know until I start writing this post, which is Pico ~Ohmori~ by Sanzigen. And also, there is a new band from this franchise, Morfonica. Got violin sound! Interesting...Anyway, let's move on. Wait...I have forgotten one thing. There is a new expansion to the Bandori franchise, that is Argonavis from BanG Dream! Wait...I'm not gonna watch THAT! Why would I watch cute boys coming together?!
sigh... Oh, BTW, there a second Film Live movie, titled BanG Dream! FILM LIVE 2nd Stage! It was being announced on March 16, 2020. Nice! More music! Well, I guess there won't be much plot in there for me to talk about. It is just more music to enjoy! Anyway, NEXT!!!

After the crisis, failed attempt by CHU2 (real name: Tamade Chiyu) to get Tae into her band and Poppin'Party (PoPiPa) live concert, life goes on for our cute girls and the girl-powered bands! But...there is a catch! There's an event upcoming that is being planned in the story that is gonna be the climax of our story, which is the BanG Dream! Girls Band Challenge final in Budoukan. Hehehe...BTW, Raise A Suilen (RAS) is still finding for a guitarist to join the competition because Tae decided to stick with PoPiPa and not join RAS.

With that, looks like everything seems normal, right? NO! The story starts off by CHU2 finding out about Rokka's IMBA guitar skill when she was enjoying her Roselia moment. Weirdly, she says she dun like but goes and listen to Roselia's live performance in the school festival. Well, thanks to the video streaming site's algorithm, she found Rokka's guitar skill. Anyway, she tries to get her but failed until she was brought by Masking (real name: Satou Masuki), which Rokka fails to impress CHU2. Rokka later decided to join RAS and tries to impress CHU2 after a series of events and PoPiPa's special song to encourage Rokka.

Well, after a series of event, Rokka successfully impresses CHU2 and joins RAS as the guitarist during her attempt to impress another time and during the time of trying to get the MV out in time. Anyway, this is in the context of trying to get into the final of the Bang Dream event in the show. So, who joined? Only PoPiPa (because they dreamt of performing in Budokan in which they did at the end), RAS and Roselia (after a series of event that inspires Roselia to join) joined the competition. Well, of course, there are filler bands but they are not important to the story and the rest of the bands that we know of (like Happy Hello and Afterglow) didn't join because of certain personal circumstances.

Anyway, the show is actually focused on RAS, PoPiPa and Roselia. The one thing that made me tear up is during the crisis of RAS breaking up. CHU2 wanted to have control of every members' schedule because of her insecurities but is not accepted well by others, especially MASKING. What is worse, PAREO (Real name: Nyubara Reona) ran off, which further worsen the crisis of RAS. And man, the way of how the crisis is being resolved touches the strings of my heart.

Anime Rating
Story (Rating: 10/10)
The story of the girl bands growth and going into the final of Bang Dream competition was amazing. Although the story is mostly focused on RAS, the writers didn't forget to give the other contenders (namely Roselia and PoPiPa) the right amount of screentime and development. Anyway, good plot overall. The story flows and paces really well. Plus, the story is pretty easy to understand. Also...there are some cute and funny scene that I enjoyed personally.

Art and Animation (Rating: 10/10)
The animation and art are very consistent. CGI is really good. 3D animation is not really something that I'm used in anime but it's not a bad choice if the animator knows what they are doing. Oh man, that reminds of a certain Aria...
burrrr...Not gonna talk about it. The character looks good even though it's CGI.

Sound and Music (Rating: 9/10)
Good music, good BGM, a good opening song, a good ending song...all of these are good enough to get a high rating from me and make me wanna go back to play Bandori once again. xD

Characters (Rating: 10/10)
The characters are very important in this story so naturally, character development is gonna be VERY important. At first, CHU2 turned from unfriendly to her band members to insecurity (because of RAS members getting closer to rival bands) and unto reunion and reestablishing friendships with RAS members. Those moments are precious. Of course, it's good to see CHU2 getting engaged to rival band member during the period when are preparing for the final battle. Well, not only RAS, but we also saw that Roselia growth after their position and musical prowess being challenged by RAS in a special live battle. As for PoPiPa, they decided to join to fulfil the dream of playing in Budokan. Ah...it is that feeling once again. The feeling that I can work toward my dream and fulfil it. So yeah, I dun think I should talk about the relatability of the characters to the audience, right? It's quite that I've mentioned it indirectly. OK, move on.

I've lost a bit of interest in writing and publishing new blog post because of an unfortunate event and the fact I'm slowly getting bored of being stuck at home for another 2 weeks. Sorry. So yeah, with quite a lot of time wasted, I'm trying to publish as many blog post as I can and watch as many anime titles as possible during the final stages of the MCO.
