Hello, ppl! Remember the MCO extension that I've announced? Yeah, this post is NOT the last post during MCO, which is nice for giving me more time to publish more new post but bad for my other plans. COVID-19 has messed up my plans quite a lot and hopefully, I have the chance to fix up my plans a bit although I think it further messes up my plans throughout the year. Even though I like being stuck at home as I'm an introvert, EVEN I, yes, ME, I'm actually sick of being stuck at home. Wow...Anyway, I pray that God will bless us and save us from this disaster.

Anyway, away from the disease, time for some relaxing post. Well, Darwin's Game was a bit dark and In/Spectre was a mind-blowing experience but Azur Lane and Show By Rock season 3 was a cute and relaxing experience, good for a stressful and scary climate that we are in now. This time right after that mind-blowing In/Spectre, time for cute girls in Koisuru Asteroid!!! LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!!

Ahaha...sorry for the long speech at the beginning. So...let's begin!!! The series, Koisuru Asteroid (In Japanese, 恋する小惑星 but 「小惑星」 is read as アステロイド), which is also known as Asteroid in Love, started as a Japanese four-panel manga series by Quro and has been serialized since January 2017 and has been collected into three special volumes. As for the anime adaptation, it is animated by Doga Kobo, which premiered on January 3, 2020. Also, there is also a special ONA called KiraKira Zoukangou. Nice one! Oh...Well, the intro is short because there is nothing much to say about this series. Anyway, let's move on!

The story starts with a
loli little girl, Konohata Mira befriends a boy named Ao (full name: Manaka Ao) because of curiosity. During that process, Ao introduces Mira to astronomy and makes a promise with him to discover an asteroid to have an astronomical object with Ao's name on it, under a pretty cute circumstance. CUTE!!!

Many years later, Mira enters high school and joins the earth sciences club, which a merger of the school's astronomy and geology clubs. Well, she wanted to join the astronomy club but since it has been merged with another club, why not join?

Anyway, she unexpectedly reunites with Manaka Ao, who she discovers is actually a girl (Well, actually, we know this will happen. It's anime. BUT, Ao is girl "thing" is kinda shocking). With her best friend and her fellow club members, Mira and Ao take part in various astronomical and geological activities in the hopes of one day discovering an asteroid and give it the name, Ao. Also, they also embark in the cute adventure with their new friends in the club, Inose Mai, Sakurai Mikage and Morino Mari.

Also, we have a cute addition of the KiraKira Zoukangou, which explain some things in the anime for us. Good stuff and also...CUTE!!!! I agree VERY MUCH that the KiraKira Zoukangou special OVA is a cute addition to the series and a good and simple explanatory OVA to the kinds of stuff that is mentioned in the anime. Anyway, let's go!

Story (Rating: 10/10)
The plot of the story has a goal like a few "cute girls doing cute things" anime. Anyway, a great plot with a lot of cute and funny moments. I like it very much. The flow and pacing of the story are great. Me like it! The story is pretty easy to understand too!

The characters are cute, the animation is done well and consistently well. Good stuff! The beautiful night sky is well-drawn! Good stuff! Sorry, I'm actually out of words to say. xD

Both OP and ED are beautiful, as beautiful as the stars in the night sky and as endearing as the moon in the night sky. Anyway, great BGM! They are well-placed!

Characters (Rating: 9/10)
The characters are so cute!!!!! Oh, the character development is pretty good. Not only just about them having more knowledge about the astronomy and geology (and other stuff), they have grown in term of inner character. Oh, how beautiful! Oh, it is relatable? Oh yes, it quite relatable. The drive chase after your dreams...Ah, it's good to be young...Ahem! I'm not that old!!!

Enjoyment (Rating: 10/10)
This anime brings me great joy and delight. I like the story of chasing after the asteroid to give the name Ao to it. Oh, great and wonderful moments...Oh, there is also a lot of cute and funny moments to behold. Good stuff there. Good stuff. Will watch again whenever I can.
