Hey, people. How is life? I finally got a new computer. Well, it's been a
while since but I finally have more time to use it to my heart's content.
Although the failure to get the Comic Fiesta ticket shook me to the core, I'm
here to once again, publish a new blog post after publishing
a new blog post just a little over a week ago.

What is this post gonna be about? Well, recently, I'm hooked on one of the
songs featured
in the Akebi-chan anime. What song, you asked? It's a
song named hem. Ah...so lovely to listen to. AHEM! Oh, it's time to go!!! Let's go!!!!!!!!!

Although this post is just me talking about a particular anime song, there
might be SPOILERS from the anime. If you are planning to watch the anime

The song, hem, is one of the insert songs of the anime Akebi's Sailor Uniform.
It appeared in episode 2 as ads in the anime that Akebi watched before she
entered middle school and has a particular version that is Erika's piano and violin
version in episode 12. Every single aspect of this song is made by Sugiyama
Katsuhiko, including the lyrics. It is sung by the girl who is in the ads that
Akebi watched, Fukumoto Miki (voiced by Saito Shuka). Yeah...I've nothing more
to say...let's move on.

This song is hardly in the anime other than being the reason why Akebi went to Roubai Girls' Academy. Also, yes, there is a mention of a sailor school uniform. That's it. That's why I'm not gonna talk much about the anime as it's hardly connected to the anime and gonna talk about it as a song itself.

Ahem! This song tells a story about a high school boy in love with his close female friend but he just couldn't get his feelings across to her. The song expresses the frustration of his inability to confess his love to her and the frustration that she is not getting it. It also expresses his love for her and the pain of not getting his confession of love through to her. Well, isn't it a heart-aching story? Do you see what I mean by this song is hardly related to the Akebi-chan anime? OK, it's time to move on.

Conclusion
sigh...Finally, I've done it. The translation task was the heaviest because nobody had ever translated it into any language, leaving me with no reference to make my translation easier. Usually, there is at least some but this time, none at all. That's good for me though. It will train me properly on how to translate.
